We have been providing portable oral health services to Head Start Programs, Massachusetts Public School Systems and Massachusetts special school adolescent populations, as well as to Department of Social Services [DSS], Department of Youth Services [DYS], and Department of Mental Health [DMH] programs in Massachusetts. Currently we serve over one hundred and fifty [150] sites in more than fifty [50] communities statewide. The program was funded to provide children in the Commonwealth who were designated as victims of Oral Health disparities with a suitable Oral Health alternative in the form of a portable dental home.
