CMOHS partners with many highly respected organizations and programs throughout the state to further enhance the services provided to patients.
The Oral Health Across the Commonwealth (OHAC) program was established in 2004 and is a partnership between the Tufts Community Dental Program and Commonwealth Mobile Oral Health Services to provide comprehensive dental services at various community-based programs in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
The Vineyard Smiles program was established in 2005 to address the needs of Martha's Vineyard residents who had access barriers to oral health treatment. Originally funded through a grant, the program was a collaboration between Vineyard Healthcare Access Program, and Island Health, Inc. Now in partnership with Commonwealth Mobile Oral Health Services, Vineyard Smiles treats patients at schools all over the Island, including Martha's Vineyard Regional High School.
The BEST Oral Health program stands for Bringing Early Education, Screening and Treatment to children in Hampden county. It is a partnership between Commonwealth Mobile Oral Health Services, Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and Partners for a Healthier Community Inc.
The Smart Smiles Dental Program in the Boston Public Schools is a coordinated school health program that strives to reduce the experience of dental caries (tooth decay) in children and improve children's oral health in the City of Boston. Established in 2004, Smart Smiles is a collaborative program that involves Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, and Commonwealth Mobile Oral Health Services. The quality and coordination of care for patients in the Smart Smiles program is unparalleled.
